Popular socialite and businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has reaffirmed his loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections despite losing in the recent All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.

Speaking during an interview on Beat FM, Cubana Chiefpriest said his support for the president remains firm, insisting that political setbacks would not change his convictions or political alignment.

According to him, his continued support for Tinubu is influenced by the positive role many people from the Yoruba ethnic group have played in his personal and business journey.

“My loyalty lies with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections. Many Yoruba people have touched my life positively, and I cannot forget them. My loss at the APC primaries does not change where I stand,” he said.

The celebrity entrepreneur maintained that losing the party primary would not affect his relationship with the ruling party or alter his political beliefs.

His comments have continued to generate reactions across social media platforms, where supporters and critics have shared differing opinions over his stance following his defeat in the APC primary.

The interview clip has also reignited conversations around celebrity participation in politics, political loyalty, and the growing influence of public figures in Nigeria’s political landscape ahead of 2027.
