Inter-tribe Forum Felicitates Muslim Ummah on Eid al-Adha, Calls for Unity and Peace

As Muslims across Nigeria and the world mark the celebration of Eid al-Adha, the Inter-tribe Community Support Forum has extended its warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the sacred occasion.

In a goodwill message signed by the Secretary General, Mrs. Esther Abdullahi Kingsley, and the Coordinator, Nworisa Michael, the forum described Eid al-Adha as a significant reminder of faith, sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and shared humanity.

The group noted that the celebration also serves as a season that promotes peaceful coexistence, love, and support for the less privileged in society.

The forum called on Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, religion, or background, to continue to uphold peace, unity, tolerance, and mutual respect within their communities, stressing that national cohesion remains essential in the face of current socio-political challenges.

It further encouraged citizens to use the festive period to strengthen relationships across religious and ethnic divides, in line with the spirit of national harmony and peaceful coexistence.

The Inter-tribe Community Support Forum prayed for a peaceful, joyous, and spiritually rewarding Eid celebration for all Muslim faithful across the country.

Waiya Felicitates Gov Yusuf, Deputy Gov Garo, Kano Leaders, Residents On Eid-el-Adha

The Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Hon. Comr. Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has extended heartfelt Eid-el-Adha greetings to the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the Deputy Governor, Murtala Sule Garo, as well as other political leaders and residents across the state.

In a goodwill message issued on Tuesday, Waiya also felicitated the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Farouk Ibrahim, the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Ismail Falgore, and the APC Kano State Chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa.

He further extended greetings to members of the State Executive Council, advisers to the Governor, lawmakers, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and the entire people of Kano State on the occasion of Eid-el-Adha.

The Commissioner also offered special homage to the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, praying for continued peace, wisdom, and prosperity within the Kano Emirate and the state at large.

Waiya described Eid-el-Adha as a period of sacrifice, obedience, unity, and devotion to Almighty Allah, urging residents to sustain the values of peace, tolerance, compassion, and mutual respect before, during, and after the festive celebration.

He commended the efforts of the Kano State Government and relevant stakeholders in promoting peace, strengthening development, and advancing good governance across the state.

The Commissioner further prayed for sustained peace, prosperity, and progress in Kano State and Nigeria, while wishing Muslims a peaceful and spiritually rewarding Eid-el-Adha celebration.

He added that the festive occasion should serve as a reminder of the importance of unity and collective responsibility toward the growth, stability, and development of Kano State and Nigeria at large.
