#VIDEO: Women Block National Assembly Over #NewNaira

In a viral video shared online gro
up of women were seen standing and chanting songs at the enterance of the National Assembly thereby blocking the lawmakers from going in demanding that the CBN and Commercial banks makes available the #NewNaira available to the public. While so many Nigerians share same believe that the apex bank are involved hoarding the #NairaRedesign this is however not true as billions has already been distributed to commercial banks in the country. However, one of the key intention of this initiative by the Central Bank of Nigeria is to encourage online banking transactions and reducing the flow of cash in the country in a bid to further strengthen the security of the country. As it has been proven that kidnappers and armed robbers engage in collecting cash from their victims other than online transfers for fear of been caught Many Nigerians are lamenting over this development but this minght just turn out to be the greatest legacy president Mohammad Buhari GCFR might just be leaving behind as he leaves office.
