New Turn for Youth Enthusiasm and Development (N-YED) has announced the commencement of applications for the second edition of its Youth Voices in Good Leadership Platform, a virtual initiative aimed at equipping young Nigerians with leadership and digital media skills.
According to the organisers, the programme is designed to empower participants with practical knowledge on the responsible use of social media, youth participation in governance, and leadership development through interactive sessions led by experienced facilitators.
The training, themed "The Role of Digital Media in Reshaping Youth Ideals, Access, and Participation in Good Leadership: From Spectators to Stakeholders," seeks to encourage young people to move beyond observing governance to becoming active contributors to nation-building.
N-YED said the programme is open to youth leaders, civil servants, students, social media influencers, and community members interested in promoting good leadership and national development.
Selected participants will benefit from hands-on training in media influence and civic engagement, data reimbursement, a Youth Voice Ambassadorship e-certificate, and opportunities to network with other participants.
The virtual training is scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (WAT) via Zoom. Organisers said the meeting link will be shared with successful applicants ahead of the event.
Interested applicants have been encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline.
