According to The Sun Nigeria, the actor reportedly passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, after battling cancer for several months. Family sources quoted by the newspaper disclosed that the actor had been ill for a prolonged period before his death.
The report has since triggered an outpouring of tributes across social media, with actors, entertainers, public figures, and fans expressing shock and sadness over the development.
