THE MATCH; Feelings, Thoughts and Expression

(Part II) 

(Excerpt from Part I)

...the thought is like a reservoir that gets water deposits in drops, accumulate it and waters the man's perspective to life...

A man that claims not to understand his thoughts should check his environment; he's definitely a consumer of many things by influence and not on his own volition. The system of a man is in a mode of constant learning; whatever it comes across, it always wants to attract.

However, after picking all it can pick, it is the man that has the duty to control what dominates in the mind as thoughts; he decides what to give the crown of his thoughts. 

All men should define what they want to think about then it'll be easy to place a guide on what the mind would feed on constantly.

The next stage of the match is the FEELING.

What makes up the feelings, emotions of a man is what he thinks about. HOW A MAN FEELS IS THE EMOTIONAL SHOW OF HIS THOUGHTS.

There are basically two kinds of feeling for all men; Good and bad feelings. No matter how deep the thoughts may be, it will only produce either of these two feelings; you either feel good OR bad.

Now, let's take a little assessment:

*Have you ever FELT good while THINKING of HUNGER?

*Have you ever FELT bad while THINKING of how BRIGHT that future you want for yourself is?

*Have you ever FELT good while THINKING of that #7,000,000 debt that you OWE?

It is obvious that the answers to the questions above is a capital NO; They are not aligned.

A man would always have a feeling that aligns with his thoughts at all times.

Boredom, Revenge, Hatred, jealous and other 'bad frequency' thoughts like these fives a man nothing but a BAD FEELING. On the other side, thoughts of hope, happiness, love, passion, excitement begets good feelings.

This part of the triad can be referred to as a middle man; it stands between the thoughts and the physical actions of a man.

Maybe you've been asking yourself the question that "Why am I always feeling this way na"... Answer yourself now by checking what you're thinking about and also trace it back to what you've been allowing your mind to feed on at all times.

You want to feel good? Have good thoughts by giving your sights and hearing to good stuffs. You want to feel otherwise? You definitely know what to do also; IT IS YOUR CHOICE.

Should I cry?

You left my heart to burn,

After  turning me on and on.

Should I cry?

You dealt my heart a blow,

And left it in the cold.

Should I cry?

You pierced my heart with your  smile,

And throw it in the Nile.

Should I cry?

Maybe I should,

Maybe I shouldn't.

But I know if I would ever cry,

It would be because I tried,

INEC, Kano REC sued over failure to issue voters card to Nigerian youth

    

 The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), its resident electoral commissioner for Kano State have been dragged to the Federal High Court in Kano to face a lawsuit, owing to their inability to issue a Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to one Ambassador Michael Onyedikachi Nworisa.

Mr. Nworisa, a Nigerian youth who said he was very active in mobilizing his fellow youths to register with INEC and get their PVCs prior to the 2019 general elections, said he was embarrassed by INEC’s refusal to issue him with one.

He claimed in his suit (No. FHC/KN/CS/125/2019) that INEC succeeded in disenfranchising him, since he was unable to vote during the elections, a situation he said offended the right conferred on him by the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.

 

He urged the court, through his lawyer, Barr. Kudofoke Oluwatosin Deyon, to determine if “by virtue of the provision of section 77(2) of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) and the provision of section 1(2) of the Registration of Voters Act, and the provision of Article 21 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights (which Nigeria as a nation ratified) which confers on claimant the right to vote and be voted for, the failure of the first and 2nd Defendant to issue the claimant Permanent Voters Card before the election conducted on March 16, 2019 and various elections does not constitute the disenfranchisement of the claimant.”

Nworisa said he was disappointed and embarrassed by INEC’s failure to issue him with PVC

Nworisa said if the court reached a conclusion that he was shortchanged by INEC, he wants the court to give an order directing the electoral umpire to immediately issue him his PVC, “having complied with all requirements.”

He further said he wants “an order directing INEC to publicly apologise in two national dailies to the Claimant and other Nigerians who were eligible to vote but were disenfranchised by INEC due to its failure to issue them with their PVCs.”

Counsel to the plaintiff, Kudufoke Oluwatosin Deyon, told Judicial Sketch that his client’s sole aim in suing INEC was to make national agencies responsive and responsible, adding that as democracy continues to take its firm root in Nigeria, lackadaisical attitudes towards the rights of citizens should be discouraged.

Amb. Nworisa also told Judicial Sketch that “This suit is not about me alone. It is about the collective rights of all Nigerian youths. Political participation is a sure way of ensuring that democracy work the way it should. We are supposed to have gone beyond that era where any government agency would just fail to do its job and we all keep mute.”

However, INEC, through its counsel, Barr. Hassan Aminu, queried the jurisdiction of the court to entertain the suit “having regards to the provision of section 2(a) of the Public Officers Protection Act Cp. 41, Laws of the Federation, 2004”, saying the commission’s preliminary objection was predicated upon the fact that the claimant was already statute barred.

The matter has been fixed to be heard on the 7 th day of April 2020.
